Charlie joined YouGov Sport in April 2016 to develop new market opportunities as the company continues to grow internationally, as well as helping established and future clients get the most from YouGov Sport’s market-leading tools and research techniques.

With over 15 years’ experience in the sports and sponsorship field, Charlie’s most recent role was as  Business Development Director at GMR Marketing, where he secured multiple new clients such as Infosys and the Longines Athina Onassis Horse Show.  Prior to that he was Managing Director at Repucom UK, where he successfully retained the agency’s largest account, The Premier League.  Charlie also spent more than 10 years with MediaCom, leading a range of sponsorship activation campaigns including Snickers, Nokia and Dell, as well as previously being responsible for perimeter advertising sales at Sports and Outdoor Media.

Gordon Hendren

Managing Director
YouGov Sport Canada

Gord’s client experience ranges across many industry categories including sports broadcast, telecommunications, financial services, automotive, petroleum, airline, retail, athletic equipment and others. As a result, Gord has a detailed understanding of the sports, sponsorship and media landscapes.

Gord is recognized as a leader in sports, sponsorship and activation consulting in Canada and abroad. His 25+ years of experience spans many of the leading professional sport properties, including NHL, NFL, MLB, NBA, FIFA and ATP. He has also worked closely with grassroots and national sports organizations, such as: Hockey Canada, Tennis Canada, Golf Canada, and the Canadian Olympic Team.

Sarah Melville

Head of Media
YouGov Sport

Sarah joined YouGov Sport in September 2020 and leads a department of  global analysts, developers and media research experts within the media reporting division. She oversees projects of varying complexity as the expert in the room in all matters related to media research.

An experienced Head of Insight, Sarah has a proven, award winning history of working in qualitative and quantitative research across B2B, higher education and sports industries (agency and client side). Skilled in CX, media valuation, departmental leadership and management, strategic marketing, qualitative and quantitative methodologies and data management.

Sarah’s a dedicated problem solver, educated to doctoral level, with a passion for understanding and responding to customer need.

Sachin Dodhia

Sachin joined YouGov in August 2021 from AudienceNet where he was Director of Research and has previously worked for Kantar and Experian.

He has over 18 years’ experience in international insights and is skilled in analytics, market analysis, global insight, brand equity and online research.

Sachin has worked across a variety of sectors including sport, financial and business services, entertainment, utilities, manufacturing and the public sector. He uses his vast experience and enthusiasm to drive the consumer team, working collaboratively with both the media division and the wider team at YouGov.

Joseph Eapen

Managing Director,

Joseph Eapen is the Managing Director of YouGov Sport, heading our business in India. Mr. Eapen joined us from Repucom where he was SVP South Asia. Prior to that, he was at Media Research Users Council (MRUC), an industry body in India, where he was CEO and responsible for the Indian Readership Survey 2010 (the largest readership study in the world).

He has 25 years’ experience in marketing research and media measurement. Prior to MRUC, he was CEO of aMap, the second largest overnight TV ratings company in the world.

Tom Parish

Commercial Director

Tom joined YouGov Sport in August 2021 after spending 6+ years working for SPORTFIVE, a leading global sports marketing and management agency. Tom brings with him extensive knowledge of the sports landscape in this region, from his experience implementing strategy and driving commercial growth for a number of leading sports rights holders in the region, in particular within Olympics, Paralympics, Commonwealth Games, Golf and Horse Racing. Operating out of Sydney, Tom is responsible for all commercial elements of the YouGov Sport business in Australia and New Zealand, and for continuing the expansion of the business and our client portfolio in this region.
