YouGov Sport/SMG Insight can boast its very own sports star as of this weekend, with Senior Research Manager Natasha Glassford winning a silver medal at the Judo Veterans World Championships.
Natasha, who has been with SMG Insight for almost three years, was competing in Cancun, Mexico with 788 other judokas drawn from 45 countries at the 2018 edition of the competition. Representing Great Britain, her medal was the first she has collected at a Veteran’s World Championships, and was one of eight picked up by Team GB on glittering final day of the event.
Natasha, who trains with the Ealing Judo Club and competes in the F1 -63kg category, is an experienced judoka and even spent a year teaching judo and English to Korean children earlier on in her career.
Frank Saez, YouGov Sport/SMG Insight Managing Director, said the medal will come as no surprise to the London office where Natasha is based.
“We know Natasha as a determined and tenacious colleague so although we are absolutely delighted for her, we’re not surprised that she has done so well. We were also very pleased to sponsor her participation at the tournament – and we know that we’ll get a great research report back about its reach. It’s looking very good for a sponsorship renewal! Well done, Natasha!”
