As NBC uses its Olympic broadcast rights to bolster its Peacock streaming service, our data shows Americans are more than twice as likely as Brits to be following the Games via a streaming service. 

Live gymnastics and track and field were available on the free tier of the platform, with more events available with the paid version. 

In Great Britain, TV licence fee-payers can stream the Games for free on the BBC website and via the BBC iPlayer app. Eurosport subscribers can stream the action online or via the Eurosport Player app. Roku users can watch iPlayer on a Roku streaming device or Roku powered TV.
