YouGov Sport has appointed leading industry expert Edgar Raposo as Senior Sales Manager, meeting growing client demand for sport and sponsorship research in the German market.
Edgar will be tasked with introducing YouGov Sport’s pioneering research services and expertise to Germany’s sports industry, including rightsholders, agencies and sponsors.
The expanded research services include media tracking and auditing, sponsorship and rights valuation, and economic impact studies, as well as consumer insights into event perceptions, sponsor fit, fan profiles and preferences.
The expansion of YouGov Sport’s research services means that the company’s footprint now spans Germany, the US, UK, Australia, UAE and India
Edgar arrives from STATS Deutschland and, prior to that was Senior Manager for Business Development and Sales at Nielsen Sports. He was responsible for lead generation in sports and entertainment marketing in the German, Austrian, Swiss and Portuguese markets.
Edgar believes that, with its innovative suite of services, YouGov Sport is uniquely placed to compete in the German market.
